Loggia di Istruzione Chimera
Le Cerimonie nei nostri Rituali possono essere paragonate, almeno per certi versi, a rappresentazioni di tipo teatrale e, se gli Ufficiali di Loggia sono gli attori, dal punto di vista iniziatico il vero protagonista - che si tratti di un'Iniziazione o di una Installazione - è senza dubbio il Candidato. Ma al tempo stesso egli è lo spettatore, nel cui animo si imprimerà con forte persistenza ogni singolo attimo della personalissima esperienza che egli vive, circondato da Fratelli della sua Loggia.

Uno svolgimento soddisfacente delle Cerimonie si ottiene soltanto a condizione che i Fratelli conoscano perfettamente il Rituale, oltre che nei suoi contenuti più profondi, anche nella sua forma orale e nella sua gestualità (parola e azione). E tale conoscenza la si acquisisce con lo studio e la pratica.
Ecco perché, oltre alle riunioni di Loggia, è indispensabile potersi incontrare, in modo informale, per dedicarsi allo studio e alla pratica dei Rituali. Il ruolo della Loggia di Istruzione, il cui preciso ed unico scopo è quello dell'insegnamento e apprendimento del Rituale, è dunque importantissimo. Le riunioni della Loggia di Istruzione non hanno altro fine, tanto è vero che in una Loggia di Istruzione non possono avvenire ne Iniziazioni, ne Passaggi ne Elevazioni ne Installazioni effettive ma soltanto delle prove

Il metodo di dimostrare le Cerimonie e le Letture è in stretta conformità con il rituale Emulation come trasmesso e custodito dalla Emulation Lodge of Improvement di Londra.

In our Ritual the Ceremonies have a theatrical element and if we consider the Officers of the Lodge to be the actors, then, from an initiatory point of view, the real protagonist – whether it be an Initiation or Installation – is undoubtedly the Candidate. However, at the same time he is the spectator surrounded by his Brothers, in whose mind remains firmly imprinted every detail of the extremely personal experience he undergoes.
The Ceremonies can be carried out properly only if the Brothers know the Ritual exactly not only its deepest meanings but also its oral expression and its gestures (words and actions). This knowledge is acquired by study and practice.
This is why it is essential to meet informally, not only during Official Meetings, to concentrate on the study and practice of the Rituals. The role of the Lodge of Instruction, whose sole purpose is that of teaching the Ritual, is therefore highly important. The Lodge of Instruction meetings have no other objective, in fact a Lodge of Instruction cannot carry out Initiations, Passings, Risings or Installations but only rehearsals.
